DJPh General Virtual Assistance Training Day 4

DJPh General Virtual Assistance Training Day 4

On Day 4, the General Virtual Assistance Training continued, and the scholars continued to build their presence on different social media channels such as LinkedIn and Facebook to enhance their services as Virtual Assistants.

During the training, Mr. Alvin John P. Ferias, the trainer, invited Mr. Gerson Lacdao, a Freelance Website Developer here in Oriental Mindoro, to share his testimonial about his career in the world of freelancing. Mr. Lacdao shared his story, discussing how he started and how he has maintained his freelancing career. His narrative provides ideas for our scholars to gain knowledge and understand other freelancing opportunities in virtual assistance, such as web development.

To continually inspire the scholars, Mr. Ferias also invited Mr. Jaycee Godoy, another freelancer from Oriental Mindoro. Mr. Godoy shared tips and information with the scholars about why companies from other countries prefer to hire virtual assistants rather than physically present ones. His discussion opened our scholars’ eyes to the bigger picture of opportunities in virtual assistance worldwide and emphasized why it is a significant investment for them to learn these skills in this training to support their future careers.

Day 4 marked yet another success for DJPh’s General Virtual Assistance Training, concluding with a discussion on common Virtual Assistance services.
